Vlado

grew up on the banks of Danube River in Bratislava, Slovakia. At the age of six, he began to play classical piano and study composition. From his musical knowledge he taught himself guitar, bass and drums. In the late 70's his band TAKTICI topped music charts surpassing such acts as "Queen", "The Bee Gees" and "ABBA".
As his success increased,  so did his conflicts  with the Government. More and more restrictions were placed on his music, censoring his lyrics and performances. When the Government officials canceled a tour of England, he forged his passport and defected to the USA.
Since his arrival, he has been working as a musician, songwriter, arranger and composer  in New York City, Los Angeles, Florida, Las Vegas, and Europe for various companies as EMI London, Warner Brothers, BMG, OPUS Records, Platinum Records, Contact Pictures, HBO, MAX, CMI Records, PBS.
His resume includes several #1 and Top 40 songs, motion picture soundtracks, children musical, TV shows, and countless recording credits in a wide range of musical genres including "Pop", "Rock", "Latin", "Reggae", "R&B",  "Gospel", "Dance"
"Smooth Jazz".  He has over 100 songs published throughout the world, and there is
a tribute band in Europe performing his songs.
Recently Slovak TV made a documentary movie about his life and TAKTICI.
